Silx Employability Project is designed to support hard-to-reach and marginalised young people aged 16–25 living in the Blyth area.

Our aim is simple: to remove barriers and provide young people with the tools, confidence, and guidance they need to move into employment, training, or further education.

Who It’s For

Our sessions are open to all young people not in education, employment, or training (NEET). Whether you’re looking for your first job, considering a return to education, or simply need someone to talk to — we’re here to help.

Courses are flexible, self-paced, and fully funded by the project.

We don’t just wait for young people to come to us — our outreach team actively connects with those in the community who may benefit from our support.

This enables us to provide a wraparound service, ensuring young people receive the right support when they need it most.
