Yesterday was our our 1st taster session of the DJ course we are running with The Sage and BAIT here at Silx. 9 Young people took part in the session and were shown how to set up the DJ equipment and made posters about what the different equipment does. The course starts properly on Tuesday 5th May and all of our budding young DJs are very excited to get started. As well as gaining their Arts award all of the young people that are participating will be helping to organise a performance at our Youth Festival this Summer.
