We have now entered the final school term before the young people will have their summer break! Last week was the final half term holiday of the year, as you know from previous blog posts we always like to organise some extra sessions during the holidays so the young people have a chance to do something fun. This half term we organised two trips one on Tuesday 31st May to The Newcastle Climbing Centre and another on Thursday 2nd June to Battlezone Laser.
Indoor Rock Climbing with Endless Adventure North East
We took 7 young people to learn boulder and rope climbing with Endless Adventure North East at the indoor climbing centre in Byker and they loved it. The young people worked together to climb across the walls and support each other, this was great for helping with their team work and communication skills and they got much more confident as the day went on! The young people all behaved well, showed determination and had a fantastic time. Check out the photos of them all being daredevils:

Battlezone Laser, Gateshead
On Thursday 2nd June we took 12 young people to Battlezone Laser in Gateshead. The young people had to listen to the safety video first then get changed into their boiler suits before they went into Battle! The young people worked as a team against another group of young people who were also visiting and had a brilliant time, we had lots of sweaty young people at the end of the afternoon, but they loved it!
